Dr. Dana Podell DPT, RYT
Physical Therapist & Registered Yoga Teacher
The beginning: I was first introduced to yoga as a complement to studying Dance in college at Ohio State University. Initially, I used yoga to nourish and restore my body after sustaining many physical injuries. I felt so invigorated after each class, that I decided to complete my 200-hour teacher training in 2017 and have been teaching all levels of vinyasa, hatha, and restorative yoga since. Hungry to learn more about the physical body, I returned to school and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northwestern University. During my studies, I also completed additional course work in the treatment of pelvic health for both women and men.
Now: After finishing school, I decided to take a risk, follow my intuition, and move back to Israel. I am very excited about this transition and to offer my services here in Israel! My current goals as a practitioner are to integrate yoga with evidence-based practice to create a holistic environment for my patients to heal. I am always inspired by the needs and requests of my clients, and aim to create a space free of physical discomfort or emotional judgment. When I am not in the clinic or teaching yoga, I love to travel, practice yoga on the beach, and eat all types of vegetarian food. I am very excited to share the benefits of yoga and physical therapy with you!
