Meet Dana Podell DPT, E-RYT
Doctor of Physical Therapy & Registered Yoga Teacher
Welcome :) If you landed here then you are in the right place.
The beginning: My yoga practice began as a complement to studying Dance in college at Ohio State University. In the beginning, I practiced yoga as a way to heal and restore personal injuries. After developing a steady practice, I decided to dive into the healing space of yoga by completing my 200-hour teacher training. Excited to learn more about the physical body, I returned to school and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northwestern University. During my studies, I also completed additional course work and an intensive clinical internship in the treatment of pelvic health.
Now: After finishing school, I decided to follow my intuition and move to Tel-Aviv. I am very excited about this transition and to offer my services in this new city. My current approach to healing the body is holistic, integrating the spiritual realm of yoga with the science of evidenced based physical therapy. I believe that there is great potential in healing the body with yoga informed movement, breathing practices, and manual therapy. When I am not in the clinic or teaching yoga, you can find me on the beach or cooking up yummy vegetarian food.
I am so excited to meet you and to help you start your healing journey!
